SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY.
SUSTAINABILITY.

Our ethos isn’t just to uplift our customers, we also believe in supporting our suppliers, just like they support us. We work to ensure that our materials and services are bought, produced and delivered in an ethical way, which means accounting for factors such as health and safety, quality assurance, sustainability and social, ethical and legal standards.

OUR VALUES
A ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY TOWARDS ANIMAL TESTING

CRUELTY-FREE

At MALÁKO, we practice what we preach, and we are passionate about what we do.  Our firm belief is to deliver highly effective skincare products, true to their purpose. Every formulation of ours is lovingly created with mindfulness for our environment and is cruelty free, as it should be.

Our values from day one have been to have a zero-tolerance policy towards animal testing. It is not acceptable. And we work hard to commit to that strict policy every day. So, what does that mean? It means we don’t conduct, commission or pay third parties for the regulatory approval of results that come from animal testing at any stage of our product development process. We only trade with suppliers that provide cruelty free raw materials and ingredients and we have no room for anything that fails to comply with these requirements.

Energy Consumption

The energy at MALĀKO’s HQ is provided by a green energy supplier, who source renewable energy from hydro, solar and wind generators across the UK. In addition, our green gas is also sourced from renewable methods, such as food and farm waste. Monitoring our energy sources and usage, and aiming to reduce our consumption is something we are constantly reviewing and mindful of.

KIND TO YOU

KIND TO OUR ENVIRONMENT

As a business, we at MALĀKO understand that there are other stages along the production process where our responsibility towards the environment continues. This goes beyond legal and regulatory requirements. Devoting ourselves to reducing our environmental impact and working to improve on that constantly means managing and trying to reduce our carbon footprint and impact on the environment in as many ways as we can. We also encourage our suppliers, staff and customers to do the same.
